How to Get Press Coverage for Your Startup?  Getting your small business mentioned in the local and national press is a great way to gain exposure and potentially new business. But certainly cannot guarantee to get any new sales. From personal experience, I published an award winning book on the food of Jersey (Channel Islands) which received a double page spread in the Islands main newspaper. It did not generate any sales at all. On the other hand, I have been mentioned in articles and the phone has rung off the hook.
