A conversation with Joshua Harris, the Green Party candidate for mayor of Baltimore in November’s general election. In his campaign, Harris has pushed a plan to create a public bank to provide capital to finance local projects. He also wants to attract clean-energy manufacturing jobs and “transform a blue-collar town into a green-collar town.” Harris, a Chicago native, sits on the boards of Southwest Partnership, Charles Village Urban Renewal Plan Community Review Board and Paul’s Place Community Advisory Board.
