This week high schools across the nation are celebrating inclusive school week. An event held during the first week of December and it celebrates "the progress that schools have made in providing a supportive and quality education to an increasingly diverse student population, including students who are marginalized due to disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference and other factors. " I sat down with Ms Cami Sturdevant so she can talk to us about the importance of this week and how "Circle of friends" tries to live this on a daily basis.
