Sounds Like Nyc

On episode 57 of Sounds Like NYC we got the chance to sit down with bilingual hip-hop artist Smiley Rojas-Nunez.  Originally from NYC, Smiley moved to Oaxaca, Mexico in 2019.   Having no friends or family in a new city is a daunting thing, especially for an artist.   Since the age of 5, he’s been interested in art, but didn’t see music as a passion until age 24.    He uses his music to tell stories about intimacy and relationships.   You can find him on instagram @SmileyNoReally
