Hello and welcome to My Big Idea, an ASOS Podcast giving young women advice and inspiration to start their own businesses. This week's guest is Gemma Styles, a freelance writer living in London. Gemma was catapulted into the public eye when brother, Harry Styles of one direction came into the spotlight. This unexpected fame came with benefits and drawbacks. Having a famous sibling makes it hard to forge your own career in life, but Gemma also appreciates the opportunities it comes with. Gemma now writes articles on her blog Gemmastyles.com regarding subjects like social media, feminism and the flaws of mainstream media. The majority of Gemma's writing is directed at younger girls, often centring the ideas of body positivity, the drawbacks of social media and growing up in todays technology- filled world.
