Interviewing Giel Kirkels, Head of Knowledge Development and Innovation at the KNVB, the governing body of football in the Netherlands. The KNVB has most recently come together with other leading European football organizations to form the ‘Football Innovation Platform,’ which is focused on finding solutions and best practices for the benefit of everyone involved in football. The first initiative from the platform, called Reimagine Football, will source innovations globally that can contribute to mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on football.
