While exercise is extremely important for general health and helping us improve the composition of our bodies (via fat loss and muscle gain), exercise does not make up the majority of our calorie burn throughout the day! I explain all of the factors that play into the energy balance equation (aka calories in vs. calories out) like metabolic rate, calories burned from digesting food, calories burned while we're not moving & more! I also share how I've been increasing my calorie burn throughout the day with NO added cardio or workouts.
