Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 40 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond Who are we? It has been said that everything we see, either good or not, is really a reflection of ourselves. If it wasn’t – then we would simply not see it. The good that we see has a message. Is it possible, however, that this phenomenon is part of the Creator’s merciful way of teaching us a lesson in life? Most of us have a difficult time hearing from others anything said about our flaws. So the Creator, in His infinite kindness, set up a way that we may have a confrontation with the person who exhibits that same exact flaw in some form or another. We then see it ourselves when we say, “Goodness, how terrible is that!” But then it dawns on us that we actually exhibit the same behaviors through, perhaps, a different form. It’s interesting that this is also the same when it is truthful, positive things as well. We recognize the positive characteristics in others because we also have it in ourselves.
