Type 1 Diabetics can do ANYTHING!! It's a beautiful sentiment about perseverance and determination and how the indomitable spirit of each and every person out there living that Type 1 life can overcome any challenges that this condition of ours throws at us. But as inspiring as this message can be the fact is that it just isn't true. I mean that phrase is ALWAYS followed up by the classic exceptions: military service and flying planes. But while most of us are okay with skipping 5 am PT and not living out of one of those rolly suitcases, there are Type 1s out there who want those very things.
