Ask Me About My Type 1

Rise and shine campers!! It's Camp Week on Ask Me About My Type 1 and I'm casting THIS pod direct from Connected in Motion's 2019 SoCal Slipstream in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest!! I take a deep dive into the Type 1 camp experience and the important place I think it holds in our community. I sit down with CIM staff and learn all about the Slipstream program and what goes into planning a Dia-Weekend filled with the Type 1iest of activities and education sessions. I also get to roast s'mores with fellow campers as we talk about what makes programs like Slipstream so very special and unique kind of support that Type 1 camp can give even to adults.
