There is so much power and influence in the words you use.I have always loved reading - still do, when I make the time for it - and I've had a common theme of communication throughout my working life, in different ways and so words and language is important to me.One thing I often hear as feedback from others is people saying things like "you're so good with words". In fact literally just minutes after I finished recording this episode about language I had a message from a friend asking me to help her with some words to handle a situation she was in! She said she remembered me saying something when we last spoke that she thought was really well said so wanted to use in an email.In short I care about words and the impact they have on yourself and others.Recently I have been playing around with a few alternatives to a common phrase we say to make it more empowering….So this episode I share that phrase and some options of what you could say instead to make it feel more positive.Would love to know what you think
