Learn how DoP Alexa Wolf uses her skills to create socially focused visual storytelling on the set of “The Gathering”. Like many Directors of Photography, Alexa Wolf came to cinematography, in New York City after working in camera, grip & electric departments. Now she’s a DoP on narrative features and commercial projects, with a focus on supporting womens’ and #LGBTQ stories. She photographed a short for the 2019 Brooklyn Film Festival titled “The Gathering” looking at how women have been marginalized in the film industry, gaining more light recently amidst the #MeToo movement.
