National Talky League

The "Kokanee Grope" story isn't going away. Trudeau has effectively created a scenario where he is allowed to be held to a different standard than other Members of Parliament. This episode explores hypocrisy and whether we should be more willing to accept past transgressions in leaders. (Maybe there should be something about showing contrition or remorse tossed in there.) Here's something else to think about... should we treat political heroes as more "disposable" than we do? We seem to put a lot of stock in one and when they inevitably fail, we're without a backup plan.
