Its a major whiff of nostalgia this week as Shawn and Joe delve into PRO WRESTLING ILLUSTRATED from November 1987. This was a book that Shawn had as a kid, most likely purchased from a Super Duper or a Fay’s Drugs in South Buffalo. This is a great book with great photos including Ivan and Nikita Koloff reading a Russian propaganda book, Bruno doing the classic “open handed dramatic walk” pose and, in the centerfold, George “the Animal” Steele combing his chest hair in a mirror.
