Julie continues her series in Colossians, Centered and Complete. You’ve probably noticed on social media, that bashing the church has become a popular subject. Lists have been published, making demands of what people want the church to be if they are to remain engaged. Whether you are on one side of the fence, feeling church is not giving you what you need, or the other, groaning under the burden of what more we should be doing, today’s passage is for you. We all need a vision for what God wants for his Church. And Paul’s letter to Philemon will get us started down the road toward being a church that pleases God.
