Jim and Marsha met in Atlanta, GA, where Jim was a teacher and Marsha a student at a local college. They married in 1971, and less than a year later they moved to southeast Texas, where their marriage began to deteriorate. "Jim's career was his mistress, says Marsha. "No," says Jim.
