(Source: Wikipedia) This is a very special edition of English News Weekly as this week we interviewed Senator Brian Taniguchi from Hawaii. Senator Taniguchi very kindly answered 10 questions written by Hiroshima University students about life in the beautiful island-chain of the Hawaiian Islands. Senator Taniguchi is a 3rd Generation Japanese-Hawaiian whose family originally comes from Hiroshima Prefecture. Senator Taniguchi has been an elected official in Hawaii for 33 years. He is a member of the Hawaii-Hawaii Sister-State Organisation as well as representing the district of 11th District on Oahu Island.
