The big C — Cancer — puts the fear of death into anyone. There was a time when cancer actually was a death sentence, but thanks to modern technology and the emerging science of self empowerment, that’s just not the case anymore. There’s nothing scarier than hearing that you have an avocado-sized brain tumor. If the fear doesn’t paralyze you, then possibly the surgery will. If it’s cancer, then there’s chemo and radiation to contend with. At this point you can choose to let the disease defeat you or can let the disease empower you.
