What would they write? What do these things  in verse 24 mean: Come after me (Jesus)? Deny self? Take up your cross? How would you explain to a twelve year old what it is to lose your life in order to gain it? How would you explain to a twelve year old what it is to gain the whole world, yet forfeit your soul? If salvation is not about what a person does, what is this reward that is mentioned in verse 27? How does this text challenge you today?
