It is especially eaten in the Florida and Cuba areas. papas = a Spanish word meaning “French fries”. Usually called “papas fritas.” tater tots = fried potatoes, with a cylindrical shape and small size. They are a type of “hash brown potatoes”, also called “hash browns.” flan = a custard pudding with caramel on top. Also called “Crème Caramel.” meatloaf = baked or smoked ground beef.
