You seemed to have had a bit too much to drink last night. M: I'm feeling alright, just a little tired. I didn't actually have THAT much to drink. Your father had more beers than I did! W: Really? I wasn't counting the drinks, but your face was so red! M: I wasn't drunk! Almost all Japanese get a bit flush when they drink alcohol, even if they aren't drunk. W: Now that you mention it, all of my friends that I've drank with in Japan get a little red in the face too. M: Yeah, some people just get redder than others. W: I wish I knew that last night. My mom was worried you would end up sick. M: What? Oh no
