It's no wonder they call it a warehouse! F: Yeah, most Costcos are like this. You can buy a lot of things here just like you can at Walmart: Electronics, clothing, and food. M: Wow, there are huge amounts of food in each package. Why do Americans buy so much food at once? F: A lot of people live too far away to make frequent shopping trips for groceries. Food is bought for the week, not for the day. Also, I guess, they have a lot of space to keep it at home. M: Oh really? So, why are we buying 20 packs of potato chips? F: Well, we need to buy these potato chips for when we get back on the road again. Do you have any id
