Theology Matters

 This week, Steve talks to the Frontline students about traveling with Jesus. Can you imagine the things that the disciples witnessed? How amazing were the sights and experiences they got to be a part of! As Christians, we will get to be a part of amazing things as well. And like Peter, we will always want to remain in the “mountain top” experience – never wanting anything to change. However, if Peter, James, and John had not come down from the mountain top, think of all the things they would have missed! For example, the very next day, Jesus cast a demon out of a boy. Scary and cool to witness at the same time. Luke continues to chronicle experience after experience that the disciples would have missed if they hadn’t moved from that extremely significant mountain top experience. And we need to remember that as we travel with Jesus through our life we need to keep moving with Him. Each day is a new day with new experiences as we grow in our faith.
