Joint Venture Percussion Duo, consisting of Rachel Zhang and Laurent Warnier, joined us all the way from Amsterdam for this week's episode.  Rachel and Laurent are a husband/wife team, and in addition to their performance careers teach at the Conservatory in Amsterdam (Rachel) and the Conservatory in Luxembourg (Laurent).Joint Venture was the first percussion group to win the Vriendenkrans Competition of Amsterdam's Concertgebouw in 2011, resulting in a tour of some of Europe's most prestigious concert halls.  For that tour and ever since, the duo actively commissions and adapts new works to enhance their repertoire.Watch here.
