If some doctors came to you and asked you to give them your eye for experimental purposes for 1 Million Dollars, would you accept? What if they offered you 4 Million Dollars for both eyes? No one with his sane mind will do that. Jesus said, "if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell” [Mathew 18:9]. So now it's clear from Jesus own words that what really matters is life after death (Eternity).
