In the United States, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that many people who formerly claimed to be Christians are no longer claiming that affiliation. At the same time, strong Christian churches are continuing to grow and attract those who are seriously considering what they believe. We believe the explanation is that many people are taking their beliefs more seriously and the result is that our culture will no longer tolerate those who hold their beliefs, whatever they may be, in a cavalier manner.  In this series, Following Jesus, Dr. Russ McKendry is considering what can cause us to accept or reject Christianity.
