During this year, we are focusing on what it means to be in "right relationship with one another." Paul's description of the "fruit of the Spirit" (Gal. 5:22-23) offers a powerful vision of what Christian community can look like. Today we come to the fruit of "self-control," which is often associated with trying harder to be more disciplined, often so that we can more effectively accomplish our own goals.
