Guest Mix: Danny Powers (Nu Depth / UK).The journey started for Danny Powers back in the summer of 1998, his first encounter of proper trance music was coming across the Gatecrasher Black Compilation, the rest as they say 'is history'. This led him onto buying the next two in the series and really kicked his trance passion into gear. Listening to this style of music while he was 15 seemed weird as it was a break from the chart trash flying around at that time. He instantly got hooked on those riffs, how could an instrumental based form of music get him so hooked?! His first club experience was the good ol' Mezzaine in Wolverhampton, hearing the likes of Flat 6's 'It's too late' on a loud system for the first time was something he wasn't going to forget as a young clubber. Next up was regular visits to Godskitchen at the newly opened venue Air, then Gatecrasher events at the NEC.
