Hey You Geeks

This week on Hey You Geeks, we’re talking about the awesomeness that is the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer. We’re doing a bit of speculating, a lot of geeking out and touching on some of the criticisms of the trailer, many of which are completely preposterous and disconcerting. This leads us to talk about the new Terminator film and sequels in Hollywood today, using film marketing as the basis for a debate on what we see as a lack of originality in and imminent implosion of movies as we know them. We’re also discussing the casting announcement of the Suicide Squad movie, with a debate on the pros and cons of Jared Leto in the role of Joker. Finally, we share some thoughts on news of Mark Hamill’s return to The Flash, Ryan Reynolds return as Deadpool, and more.
