The third week of the "Last Words" series centers on the story of the road to Emmaus in Luke 24, revealing how an encounter with the resurrected Jesus transforms confusion into clarity and despair into hope. As the disciples walk in disappointment, Jesus meets them where they are—even before they recognize Him—showing that He pursues us first in our doubt and uncertainty. Through Scripture, community, and the breaking of bread, Jesus gradually reveals Himself, opening their eyes to the truth of His resurrection. Ultimately, the encounter leads to a response: their hearts are awakened, their direction is changed, and they run to share the good news.
