As we begin down the road to living free from financial stress, the first stop on our roadmap is "Why is it so important to understand how to manage money?" Is managing money really that critical? Can't we just look at our bank account and if we have money then we can spend it? What's so complicated about that? If that is what you think, you are the perfect example of why it's important to understand how to manage money, because that is not money management! The second stop on our roadmap is "What is really going on when we experience financial stress?" Isn't the real issue that we don't have enough money? We just need to get more money and that will solve all our probelms. Once again, that's why we need to talk about what is really going on. If you think the amount of money is the real problem, you will always have money problem. The amount has very little to do with living free from financial stress.
