Welcome to Drone Law Today! In this episode, we speak with journalist Sally French, known to the Twitter world as @TheDroneGirl. Sally covers “all things drone” as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal's MarketWatch. She was part of the team that launched the Drone Journalism program at the Missouri School of Journalism. There, she worked with a local NPR station to use aerial video from drones for reporting on natural disasters and environmental trends. She formerly worked with nonprofit Investigative Reporters and Editors and on the Investigative Unit at NBC Los Angeles. An early adopter of “drone journalism,” she has documented drones through her site, TheDroneGirl.com and was also named one of Forbes Magazine's "Most Influential Women in Drones."
