You don't need all the apps, websites, products, accounts, credit cards, etc. for sale online. I'm getting questions about things that show me the big picture is being missed. How many buckets do I need? What should I put where? How much here? Keep it simple and basic!  I did 3 things well: paid my bills on time, saved and invested. Save 20% if you can, or at least 10%. Pay yourself first. Like it's a bill. Pay your bills and pay them on time! If you can't, go on a cash basis. Either it was in my savings account like when I saved for a down payment to buy my first home, emergency fund, etc. The rest went into the market. The idea is to save as much as you can and move over into investments to build wealth. The investment can be a home, stock account, mutual fund, etc. At 2%, your money won't double for 36 years! We g
