What does Acts reveal through repeated terms? Universal Truth: Acts 3:15 & Acts 17:24-34 Resurrection: Acts 17:32: “Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked. But others said, “We will hear you again about this.” Persecution: Acts 5:40: “and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.” Prayer: Acts 4:29 “And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness,” Not protection but to give boldness. 2. What we should expect? If they hate Jesus they are going to hate you.
