Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (77-62) came from behind to beat the Cleveland Guardians, 6-4, in the series opener on Labor Monday at Fenway Park. Aroldis Chapman worked a 1-2-3 9th for his 28th save. With the win, the Red Sox are 15 games over .500 for the 2nd time this season. -----Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board with 2 runs in the 1st-Inning against Guardians rookie starter, Parker Messick. Roman Anthony led off the game with a Single and eventually scored from 3rd on a balk.  Romy Gonzalez knocked in the 2nd run of the Inning with an RBI Single. Trevor Story tied the game at 3-3 with an RBI Single in the Bottom of the 2nd. The Sox went in front with 2 runs in the 5th on an 2-run Single from Carlos Narvaez in the 5th Story added on with a solo Home Run in the 6th, his 23rd.   -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made the start in the series opener and picked up his 11th win of the season.
