One of the lesser recognised attributes of God is His humility and willingness to take a lower place to serve. Although Jesus was a King, He entered Jerusalem riding on a lowly donkey. Knowing who He was, He got down and washed the disciples’ feet. Although Jesus Himself is God, He submitted His will to the Father, even to the point of death. Likewise, the Holy Spirit is equally God, yet He always only honours and points us to Jesus.
