Chad Hartman

Attorney General for the State of Minnesota, Keith Ellison joins Chad to kick off the second hour of the show. They begin with some Vikings talk and a potential return to purple for Adam Thielen. Chad asks which question he’s hearing from folks the most at the fair this year. Attorney General Ellison gets permission to nerd out with a history lesson when Chad asks him what he would do if President Trump tried to deploy boots in Minnesota. Ellison makes the distinction between deployment of military versus sending additional funding to cities to help law enforcement. Chad also asks about those running for a variety of local political offices and whether or not Attorney General Ellison would consider running for those posts. They then wade into some listener texts about the fraud level in the state and his level of responsibility.
