The Red Sox (71-60) were unable to pull off the series sweep and dropped a 7-2 decision to the New York Yankees in the Bronx Sunday night.  With the loss, the Sox 8-game win streak vs. the Yankees came to an end.  With the loss, the Red Sox also failed to get to 13 games above .500 for the 3rd time this season. The Sox remain 5.0 games behind the Blue Jays for 1st-place in the AL East and are 0.5 game ahead of the Yankees for the A.L's top Wild Card Spot. -----Going with Dustin: Dustin May made the start and took the loss on Sunday's finale in the Bronx. The 27-year-old gave up 5 earned runs on 5 hits over 4.1 Innings. He walked 3 and struck out 3. May allowed the leadoff man to reach in all 5 innings he worked.  He gave up 3 Home Runs on the night including 2 off the bat of Trent Grishman.
