Clay Holmes' struggles continued. The Mets bats remained quiet. And they were swept by the San Diego Padres, losing the finale 5-0. The Mets may have a Clay Holmes problem. It was another start where Holmes was working in and out of trouble all outing long, unable to provide the Mets much needed length. As for the bats, their struggles from last night carried over.
