The New York Mets hit with two outs and the bottom of their lineup produced in a 3-2 win in the second game of the series against the Angels.Francisco Alvarez hit his first Cit Field home run of 2025 to tie things up for the Mets in the 5th and then Brandon Nimmo drove in Ronny Mauricio to give the Mets the lead. Frankie Montas gave the Mets a solid performance, allowing just two runs over 5.2 innings pitched.
