Welcome to The Captains Table where we have intimate chats with those who have shaped Star Trek in words… For chapter five of our ongoing interview series we are very pleased to present to you our interview with Ron Wilkerson. Ron Wilkerson is a writer, musician, producer, director, and inventor. He has written and produced multiple episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1 and VH1’s Strange Frequency. He was nominated for an Emmy as a part of the writing team on the seventh season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He made a cameo appearance in the Stargate SG-1 fifth season episode “Wormhole X-Treme!” in which he played a studio executive. He recently published a novel: Houdini & Lovecraft, The Ghost Writer. During the interview we discuss how Ron started writing, his love of Star Trek, writing for TNG and in particular “Lessons” from season six, We also discuss Voyager, Stargate and much more.
