Welcome to our fourth episode where we continue our first theme: the captains’ of Star Trek. In this show Michael and Laura along with special guest Roslyn Scoular look at Captain Jean Luc Picard. They begin by looking at Picard’s first mission as captain of the Enterprise in “Encounter at Farpoint”, they also take a look at the impact of Picard’s assimilation in “Family” and “First Contact”. Finally they look at “All Good Things…” with Picard travelling through time in a bid to save humanity. Michael, Laura and Roz explore the development of Picard’s character, some of his key relationships and what we thought of this amazing captain of the Starship Enterprise.
