POSTCAST: Mets Wrap Up Series W Behind STRONG Pitching Effort

Informações:

Sinopsis

The New York Mets went old-school this afternoon. Behind some strong pitching, the Mets defeated the Kansas City Royals and wrapped up the series victory. It started with Frankie Montas, throwing up five zeros before being charged with a run in the 6th inning. The Mets bullpen, lead by a six-out save from Edwin Diaz, shut down the game from there. Offensively, it wasn't a great day at the office for the Mets but they did enough. Juan Soto's 23rd home run of the season put the Mets in front and then Jeff McNeil provided the insurance run in the 9th. They will go for a sweep tomorrow with Clay Holmes and Sean Manaea scheduled to take the mound. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Supply HouseJoin the TradeMaster program today at SupplyHouse.com/TM and start ordering plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies with just a few clicks.
