Down two in the top of the 9th, the New York Mets were able to rally to tie the game but fell to a walk-off in the bottom of the inning. The Mets pitching plan went about as perfect as you could have asked for. Clay Holmes gave the Mets five solid innings, allowing just two earned runs.
