Locked On Mets

The New York Mets traveled to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies in search of some answers in the midst of a six-game losing streak. Instead, it was a 10-2 loss and more questions for the team to solve. Tonight, it was the bullpen that had the rough night. Reed Garrett and Justin Garza combined to allow 8 runs over the 7th and 8th innings, dashing any chances the Mets had in this one. Blade Tidwell made the start for the Mets and despite what the box score might say, it was a much better outing for Tidwell than his debut.
