Sinopsis
For the second straight game, the New York Mets had one sideways inning and that was enough to sink them as they fell to the Tampa Bay Rays, 8-4. Tylor Megill got the start for the Mets and struggled, only going 3.2 IP allowing 6 runs with three of them earned. An error by Megill in that 4th inning furthered the damage and the Mets were unable to recover. Hitting wise, there were some small bright spots. Both Brett Baty and Ronnny Mauricio went yard in this game. The Mets will try to avoid getting swept tomorrow, sending Griffin Canning to the mound.
