The New York Mets had a 4-0 lead at one point, but some sloppy play and lack of situational hitting kept the door open for the Dodgers and led to the loss, 6-5. The 8th inning is where things went south for New York when Brett Baty had a play at the plate to snag the tying run but a double-clutch and a bad throw let that runner score.
