The news of the devastating fire which destroyed the Matunuck Oyster Barswept through the restaurant community in the state as quickly as it did thetown of South Kingstown.  As we havelearned so many times in the past, there is no industry that mobilizes to helplike the food service and restaurant community. This time, those in need are membersof that community. So within 24 hours of the fire, the Rhode Island HospitalityEducation Foundation of the Rhode Island Hospitality Association had alreadyestablished an official Employee Relief Fund.
