For the first seven innings, it was another frustrating day at the office for the Mets offense. But a Juan Soto SAC fly in the 8th and a Francisco Lindor SAC Fly in the 9th gave the New York Mets the 2-1 win in the series opener against the Chicago White Sox. It was a pitcher's duel with Clay Holmes and Adrian Houser battling back at forth.
