02112020In an unprecedented move, the four prosecutors that pushed for the maximum seven to nine-yearprison sentence following conviction of Roger Stone, all stepped down from the case with one resigningentirely from the Justice Department. This move came quickly on the heels following an overturn of thesentence from the Department of Justice, recommending a lesser sentence if a conviction is found.
